The Journey

The Journey is a visual story of what it feels like to take a leap into the unknown and trust that healing is possible. This diptych represents the movement of energy that happens when we decide to change, to grow, and to move forward even when we are unsure of what comes next.

This piece was created during my own trauma recovery. I took a chance on myself. I trusted the process. I stumbled, learned, and kept going. Some moments felt chaotic and uncertain, while others felt expansive and hopeful. The marks move across both canvases like motion, like momentum, like the experience of fumbling and finding your footing at the same time.

This work holds the feeling of becoming. It speaks to the courage it takes to begin, the lessons that come along the way, and the peace that slowly reveals itself when you keep moving forward. The Journey is about taking the leap, learning as you go, and discovering joy on the other side.
