Escaping The Snare was created as a diptych to honor the moment of release — when the past no longer defines the present.

These two paintings hold the tension between struggle and peace. The layers carry movement, chaos, and color, while the circular forms suggest wholeness and return. Together, they reflect the process of letting go and trusting what already lives inside us.

This work invites the viewer to leave the past in the past and step into truth with compassion. The brushstrokes are expressive and intuitive, allowing emotion to move through the body and into the canvas. What emerges is not perfection, but clarity.
