Love Letter

This piece was created during the same mark-making session as the rest of the series. But the layers didn’t give me enough depth so I continued working by adding a final layer of my signature scribble — a visual language I return to again and again. These marks represent writing intention directly into the canvas, using paint as a form of embodied storytelling. The movement is instinctive, repetitive, and releasing.

This layer became a way of moving emotion out of the body and into the work. A form of transmutation. The scribble holds rhythm, breath, and meaning without words, allowing the painting to carry what could not be spoken.
