Freedom

Freedom was created through expressive brushstrokes as an exploration of joy, movement, and emotional release. I worked in layers, allowing color and motion to guide the process rather than control it.

Each pass of the brush became a way of finding lightness through expression. The colors build on one another like emotional waves, creating depth, rhythm, and energy across the surface. This piece came from a desire to feel joy through the act of painting itself — to let the body lead and the mind follow.

This painting is part of my expressive practice of using color and movement to regulate the nervous system and move emotion out of the body and into the work. The layers hold both intensity and play, reminding me that joy can be discovered through the process of creating, not just the outcome.

Freedom is a celebration of movement, color, and the emotional permission to feel fully alive.
