Two Boots

These boots aren’t just symbols — they’re mine. This mixed-media piece uses actual printed photos of my own boots, collaged and layered into a textured blue-green abstract background. The result is a bold, personal snapshot of Nashville spirit: strong, adventurous, feminine, and full of movement.

The layered papers, acrylic paint, and expressive marks create a sense of rhythm, like the feeling you get walking down Broadway or stepping onto a stage with confidence. Each pair of boots tells a story, and these are part of my own creative journey — worn through years of art shows, songwriting sessions, and nights soaking in the music of this city.
