Floating

Floating was created during a period of deep presence and intuitive flow in my studio. I wasn’t trying to force meaning or direction — I was listening to the movement of my body, the rhythm of my breath, and the way color wanted to move across the canvas.

This painting came together through layered, gestural brushstrokes that build and dissolve at the same time. The blues and greens overlap like water, air, and memory, creating a sense of suspension — that moment when you’re no longer pushing forward or pulling back, just allowing yourself to exist.

Floating is about ease. About trusting the current. About letting yourself rest inside the motion instead of fighting it.

This piece invites the viewer into that same state — calm, spacious, and gently alive.
