To Myself

To Myself is the other half of Love Letter — created at the same time, with the same urgency, and for the same reason. This piece was never meant for an audience first. It was made for me.

I painted this work as an act of self-love. A message written inward instead of outward. The layered marks and my signature script move across the surface like repeated affirmations — not meant to be read, but felt. Each line is a gesture of care, a way of honoring myself in the middle of release.

This painting is part of my expressive practice of getting it all out — allowing emotion to move through the body and into the work without censorship. The repetition becomes soothing. The color becomes supportive. The act of making becomes the message.

To Myself holds intention, compassion, and permission. It is a reminder that love doesn’t always have to be witnessed to be real — sometimes it just needs to be given.
