Desire was created during an immersive mark-making session focused on expressing raw energy through movement, color, and intuition. This piece emerged quickly and instinctively, layered with bold strokes and saturated hues that reflect longing, momentum, and emotional pull.

Working in this series, I allowed my body to lead the process — responding to music, rhythm, and sensation rather than outcome. The result is a painting that feels alive and unresolved in the best way, inviting the viewer to bring their own meaning to the surface.

This work is part of an ongoing abstract series centered on mark making as proof of presence — evidence that we were here, that we felt something, that we moved it through our bodies and onto the canvas.
