This 8×8 abstract painting was created using the same experimental process of building texture through layered paint, pressing, lifting, and reworking the surface. After the color foundation was established, I added flowing white lines and marks across the top to create a soft, whimsical veil that moves over the composition like light or memory.
The white overlay allows the colors beneath to peek through while softening the energy of the piece, creating a dreamy, playful atmosphere. It’s both expressive and calm, a balance between movement and stillness, and a reflection of how layers can coexist without losing their individuality.
