It’s no secret that Nashville is bursting with artists and opportunities for them. The biggest problem is connecting artists and those opportunities in one simple spot.
The great news is that there are many people aware of this and have already started doing something to resolve it. Metro Nashville Arts recently launched their new artist directory on NowPlayingNashville.com and I highly recommend you create a profile or just check it out to discover our talented creative community.
So even though there’s a lot already going to help artists there are still many unanswered questions from artists who want to get involved, but just don’t know where to start. To resolved this issue, I’ve compiled a list of everything I’ve learned over the years to help you get shown and sold. If I’m missing something, please leave a comment and let’s start a conversation about how we can all help each other to maximize our presence in Nashville. I’m happy to continue editing this list so please send in your suggestions!
If you’re not an artist, just an artist lover/buyer please look over this list to see where you can purchase local art all over the city.

Hello-
I’m new to the Nashville area and currently live in Mount Juliet. I recently started doing abstract paintings and am looking to get into the art seen to sell my work. Basically looking for info on where and when local art show dates and how to get a booth to set up my paintings. Thank you!

Hello! This is such a wonderful list I have stumbled upon! Thank you! My daughter moved to Nashville 2 years ago as a makeup artist. As my husband and I enter retirement soon we are spending time each year in Nashville. I am looking to connect in community through my art. This is so helpful! Thank you again. It feels as friendly as all the people Ive met in Nashville!
Very good information on where / how to get connected in the area.
Thank you !
Glad you found it helpful!
The BORO Art Crawl in Murfreesboro has just started up in the past six months or so. The next BORO Art Crawl is June 9th & 10th. Also, RAWartists has shows in Nashville every few months where many artists can showcase their work. The next on is June 28th at the City Winery called RAWNashville TREND.
I’m an artist who has just moved here from Ireland, and I found this page !! It will be invaluable I’m sure in helping me to get involved ,and help me sell my art ! Thank you Beth Inglish .
No problem! 🙂 Please join the Nashville Creative Group!
