I would consider this area “my hood” so seeing this new work for the very first time was a delightful surprise!

I actually had my eye on this particular space for over a year now to create my own public art project, but Jared beat me to it.  I love it and know for sure the community will embrace it for years to come.

If you’re not familiar with this area, I highly recommend you visit the many fabulous restaurants and shops along the street.  Urban Grub just opened their doors this Spring and Edley’s BBQ and Burger Up are also just down the street.  My favorite thing to do is have coffee at Frothy Monkey with friends in the morning and drink a beer out on the patio of the 12 South Taproom in the evening.  I also love going to Sevier Park (check out my painting below) for the 12 South Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays from 3:30 – 6:30.
